Setting out on a Marella Cruises voyage means you’ll be treated to luxury from beginning to end, with each and every port along the way being even more incredible than the last. Known formerly as Thomson Cruises, Marella Cruises is better than ever, complete with the same stylish fleet and a host of new and exotic destinations.
One of the biggest bonuses of cruising with Marella Cruises is the company’s cruise and stay holiday package, which allows cruisers to extend their holiday by adding four or five days to the end of their cruise. Opt for this and you’ll find yourself staying at any one of the heavenly hotels or apartments from Marella’s directory. There’s also the choice to flip this amenity around and kick your holiday off with four or five days in your port of embarkation, before setting sail on the cruise of a lifetime.
Marella is known across the cruising universe for its excellent service, so don’t be shocked if your waiter not only remembers your name but your favourite drink, too. The perks don’t end there either, as with Marella Cruises you can expect comfortable cabins, energetic kids’ clubs and more than 120 world-class destinations.
Sailing with Marella Cruises means the world quite literally becomes your oyster – with their impressive fleet, your holiday options range from beach retreats to city breaks, UK classics and even far-flung destinations you once thought unreachable. From the Norwegian fjords to the Caribbean, Europe, North America, the Baltic, the Canary Islands and the Arctic – absolutely nowhere is off limits.

starsMarella Discovery is one of our biggest ships, with highlights like an outdoor cinema, a rock climbing wall, a mini-golf course, five-storey atrium and an indoor pool. You can expect all the Marella Cruises trademarks, like a fantastic dining scene, a show lounge to rival the West End, and smart, contemporary interiors. And the best bit - on Marella Discovery, everyone goes All Inclusive. This means your drinks, including prosecco and cider, plus meals in five restaurants and most onboard activities will all be part of the deal.

starsIn summer 2017, Marella Discovery 2 joined our fleet. Marella Discovery 2 is the sister ship to Marella Discovery – and this is why their names are so similar. Having two ships means you’re able to pair a wider choice of itineraries with the exciting features offered by this larger, more contemporary style of vessel. These include an outdoor cinema, a rock climbing wall, a minigolf course, an indoor pool and a glossy atrium. Not to mention the range of bars, excellent dining scene and night-time shows enhanced by up-to-the-minute technology. Just like Marella Discovery, Marella Discovery 2 is All Inclusive as standard. So, drinks, including prosecco and cider, meals in a selection of restaurants and most onboard activities are included in the cruise price. Flights and tips are both part of the package, too.

Marella Explorer is stepping up to the plate, with more facilities than any of our other ships. This includes a bumper 10 restaurants and 10 bars, as well as an indoor cinema and a Sport & Family Deck. You can expect fleet favourites like Snack Shack and Kora La, plus brand new spaces like Indigo – a swanky bar, club and casino.

starsMarella Explorer 2, is joining the fleet in summer 2019. Marella Explorer is the ship’s big sister, so you can expect some similar qualities, like a range of restaurants, a Champneys Spa and Indigo – a chic bar-club-casino space. But there’s one big difference between them – Marella Explorer 2’s reserved for adults.

starsAs the newest member of the Marella Cruises family, Marella Voyager’s facilities are going to be fresh out of the wrapper. It’ll set sail in June 2023 with a bar and restaurant offering that counts up to 10, as well as an indoor cinema, a pool deck – complete with a swimming pool and whirlpools – and a big show lounge. There’ll be plenty of places where you can take in the sea views, too, from the crazy golf course at the top of the ship to The Veranda, where cosy Balinese beds point towards the big blue.
