Hebridean Princess - Small and personal.
Hebridean Princess is Hebridean's original vessel. Specially commissioned in 1965 for the waters of the rugged west coast of Scotland, she commenced sailing under the Hebridean Island Cruises' flag after a full refit in 1989, establishing a unique and unusual style of cruising.
Just 49 guests are cared for by around 38 crew as she sails perhaps the most beautiful coastline of northern Europe, Scotland's Western Isles.
Between March and November she embarks on three to eight night cruises exploring the Inner and Outer Hebrides and venturing north to the Orkneys and Shetlands.
All cabins on Hebridean Princess are individually designed to make the most of the available space and although they vary in size, are among the largest in vessels of her class, averaging 18 to 21 square metres (194 and 226 square feet) for doubles and twins, and up to 15 square metres (162 square feet) for singles.
As rooms are regularly refurbished, fabrics may differ from those illustrated. All offer generous wardrobe space, including a small personal safe, many drawers and a dressing table, hairdryer, trouser press and ironing facility.
Television,VCR (videos may be borrowed from the Library), private bar, refrigerator and tea/coffee-making equipment, with fresh milk daily, are also provided – as well as a bathrobe and a wide range of toiletries.
All guests enjoy exactly the same high standard of service, irrespective of their cabin grade.

The luxury cruise line, Hebridean Island Cruises, have been operating cruise ships since 1989.
The first vessel, Hebridean Princess, has cruised Scotlands West Coast waters for the past fourteen years and has built up a very loyal following. Many people knew her as the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry MV Columba before her reincarnation as a luxurious cruise ship for this world class luxury cruise line.
